Well it has been a massive start to the year and everything has gone so quickly - I can't believe its nearly May!

The Commonwealth Games was an amazing experience, which I am happy to say I came out of smiling! Winning 3 bronze medals and 1 gold is something swimmers only dream of.

It was sometimes hard though to keep coming third in an Aussie trifecta. I found myself wishing I could just once come out on the other end of it!

Having the Commonwealth Games in your home country is something that most athletes will never get to experience in their career, so I made the most of every minute. The crowd was awesome and it felt so good to have thousands of fans cheering for you, just because you were wearing a yellow cap. It didn't matter what lane you were in or what place you came, they just loved us!

I am now in training for the Mare Nostrum tour of Europe, which sees us racing in a series of 2 day meets in Monte Carlo, Canet and Barcelona, before returning home for a well deserved two week 'active' break.
