Hi All

It's been almost 3 weeks since the World Trials in Sydney and things are still buzzing. I'm extremely happy with how I swam and am looking forward to the next 3 months of preparation for the World Championships in July in Canada. To win the 50 & 100 m freestyle double was an achievement that I feel very proud to have done.

No rest for the wicked though, as we came straight back to Canberra for training the day after trials finished and have been working extremely hard for 3 weeks. We have been to Thredbo twice already for altitude training, which involved a climb up Mt Kosiosko. Not the most enjoyable 3 hours of my life, but worthwhile in the end. I'm heading home in 10 days for a down time week and then back to normal training, while looking for somewhere to live in Canberra. Living in residence here at the AIS has been good, but 3 months is long enough!
