Dr Dan Godamunne

Dr Dan Godamunne holds formal qualifications in Engineering from the University of London, including an Engineering Doctorate in Applied Science, a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a Diploma in Electronic Engineering.
Dan began his formal career at Xerox in the UK, and later US, where for eleven years he worked as part of the Research and Development Division. Dan was responsible for a number of patents taken out in his name in the area of heat transfer and work on magnets.
After moving to Australia he initially worked as a project manager for Ford Motor Company before taking up a position at Fuji Xerox Australia. Over the last 13 years he has been instrumental in establishing the remanufacturing operation in Australia.
One of his most notable achievements has been leading the growth of remanufacture from a three-man team to a now dedicated operation employing over 100 people. Dan has been at the forefront of the development of over 400 remanufacturing programs, including enhancements to design of products which have produced over $100 million in savings across the Xerox group worldwide.
Dan is a dedicated scientist and engineer, proficient across all engineering disciplines. He holds a strong belief in quality principles and the future of remanufacturing and its environmental benefits.
