Fuji Xerox Australia Wins Two Coveted ENERGEX Supplier Awards

Fuji Xerox Helps ENERGEX Achieve Sustainable Outcomes While Delivering Exceptional Service

Sydney and Brisbane – 4th June 2009 – Fuji Xerox Australia (FXA) today announced that it has received two ENERGEX Supplier Quality Awards in recognition of exceptional service and its ongoing efforts to help the Queensland electricity provider achieve more environmentally sustainable outcomes. Fuji Xerox Australia scooped two out of only eight awards, including the inaugural Innovations in Sustainability award as well as the Professional Services Commercial award. The annual ENERGEX Supplier Quality Awards recognise the exceptional achievements of the company’s 5000 plus suppliers, with only 50 companies short-listed every year.

ENERGEX awarded the Innovations in Sustainability accolade to Fuji Xerox Australia in recognition of its efforts to help the company achieve sustainable outcomes via innovative document management solutions and processes. With Fuji Xerox Australia’s help, ENERGEX has increased print efficiency, reduced paper wastage, and more importantly, reduced the carbon footprint of multifunction printing devices by 10% in the last five years.

In addition, ENERGEX named Fuji Xerox as the winner of the Professional Services Commercial award to recognise excellence in overall service delivery. Competing against numerous other companies supplying a diverse range of professional services, Fuji Xerox won the award after achieving the highest overall score in areas such as leadership and innovation, people, planning, customer focus, product and service quality, cost and productivity and safety and environmental work practices.

Fuji Xerox Australia has supplied document management hardware and software solutions to ENERGEX since 2004 and is also responsible for product support and maintenance. In addition, Fuji Xerox Global Services (FXGS) has provided consulting services to ENERGEX over the last five years to improve the company’s business processes. This includes helping the organisation become more cost efficient and environmentally sustainable by measuring the energy usage and carbon footprint of its document management infrastructure via the Fuji Xerox Australia carbon calculator.
