Fuji Xerox Australia Quality Certification

Fuji Xerox Australia first gained Quality Accreditation in 1992 (ISO 9002) and is currently certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Our commitment to Quality not only extends to our management system but also to our concern for the environment. As a company we recognise the importance of Global Sustainability and have therefore obtained ISO 14001:1996 Environmental Systems Management for all of our sites around Australia.

The Xerox Group is committed to Quality and, since 1980, has won 25 National Quality Awards in 20 countries, including the world's three most prestigious.

  • Xerox is a two-time winner of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
  • In Japan Fuji Xerox won the Deming Prize, Japan's highest quality award.

Organisation Awards

In 2008, Xerox was named to the World’s Most Ethical Companies List by the Ethisphere Institute, received a U.S. EPA climate protection award for its efforts to reduce green house gas emissions and was named to the FTSE4Good Index.

Global Knowledge Forum – 2002

In 2002 Fuji Xerox was awarded the Asian MAKE (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise) Prize in Japan, the award recognised the company’s efforts toward building an environment for the creation and effective utilisation of knowledge.

UN Global 500 Environmental Roll of Honour – 2000

In 2000 Fuji Xerox Australia was awarded one of the world’s highest environmental honours, election to the UN 500 Roll of Honour, for environmental leadership achievements.

Sustainability Report Awards –

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Special Commendation – 2008

In May 2008 Fuji Xerox Australia received a special commendation award from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants on our efforts in "supply chain and product stewardship reporting" in our 2007 Sustainability Report.

Eco Manufacturing Centre Awards

Engineering Excellence Award, Institute of Engineers Australia – 2003

In 2003 this award recognised the Eco Manufacturing Centre’s support in promoting engineering excellence.

Environment Award, Institute of Engineers Australia – 2002

In 2002 this award recognised the Eco Manufacturing Centre’s work in conservation and landfill/waste reduction through recycling.

Eureka Prize – 2002

In 2002, the prize recognised the Eco Manufacturing Centre at Zetland for its contribution to science, praising its development of technology for the remanufacture of products.

Environmental Product Awards

Energy Conservation Prize Award 1999-2008

In 2008/09, Fuji Xerox was awarded the Director General’s prize for energy conservation in the 19th Energy Conservation Center Awards ceremony in Japan. With ten consecutive awards, we remain the only company in the industry to have been awarded on such a consistent basis.

Prize Award Winning Devices Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Prize – 2008

In 2008, Fuji Xerox was awarded the Director General’s Eco–Efficiency METI Prize, the prize recognised the company’s innovative eco–conscious activity and its service and solution products.

DocuCentre-III C3300 Imaging Society of Japan Technology Award – 2003

In 2003, Fuji Xerox was awarded for the development of the revolutionary EA (Emulsion Aggregation) toner, a product that reduces CO2 emissions by 35 per cent.
