Fuji Xerox Australia Quality Certification

Fuji Xerox Australia first gained Quality Accreditation in 1992 (ISO 9002) and is currently certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Our commitment to Quality not only extends to our management system but also to our concern for the environment. As a company we recognise the importance of Global Sustainability and have therefore obtained ISO 14001:1996 Environmental Systems Management for all of our sites around Australia.

The Xerox Group is committed to Quality and, since 1980, has won 25 National Quality Awards in 20 countries, including the world's three most prestigious.

  • Xerox is a two-time winner of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
  • In Japan Fuji Xerox won the Deming Prize, Japan's highest quality award.
  • Xerox Europe won the first European Quality Award.

Fuji Xerox and Xerox Corporation have been recognised with awards for quality, technology, environmental initiatives and corporate citizenship.

Below is a selection of recent awards achieved in the key areas of technology and the environment.

Institute of Engineers Australia Awards for the Environment

of Engineers, Australia Award for the Environment (NSW Division) in 2002, recognising the Centre’s work in conservation and landfill/waste reduction through recycling.

Eureka Prize

This 2002 award recognised the Eco Manufacturing Centre at Zetland for its contribution to science, praising its development of technology for the remanufacture of products. The Centre also features in an Excellence in Engineering Technology exhibit at The Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.

UN Global 500 Environmental Roll of Honour

In 2000 Fuji Xerox Australia was awarded one of the world’s highest environmental honours, election to the UN Global 500 Roll of Honour, for environmental leadership achievements.

Japan - Technology Award

Fuji Xerox won this award in 2003 from the Imaging Society of Japan for the development of EA (Emulsion Aggregation toner), a product which reduces CO2 emissions by 35 per cent, thanks to a revolutionary manufacturing process.

Energy Conservation Prize Award

Fuji Xerox is the first in the industry to win the Energy Conservation Prize for six consecutive years.

Japan - Machinery Federation Award

Fuji Xerox received the Commendation from the Director-General of the Agency of Natural Resources and Energy at the 2003 Japan Machinery Federation Awards for Energy-Conserving Machinery.

Global Knowledge Forum

Awarded the 2002 Asian MAKE (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise) Prize in Japan, this award recognises the company’s efforts toward building an environment for the creation and effective utilisation of knowledge.
