Do you really need Web-to-Print?

There are now more than 15.7 million Australians online and they’re ready to buy! In fact, Forrester/Paypal has forecasted that online sales will be worth $37 billion in Australia this year. How much of that will be printed products is harder to determine, but according to the latest InfoTrends research, the share of web-purchased commercial print volume in the USA will double from 15% in 2009 to 30% in 2014. The trend to online is irrefutable, yet the Aussie print providers lag well behind their USA (45%) and European (26%) counterparts in print ecommerce or web-to-print software adoption – the platform essential to get a piece of this online action.
