Nick Kugenthiran

Managing Director

Nick Kugenthiran was appointed as managing director at Fuji Xerox Australia on 15 July 2009.

This appointment followed a 23-year career in a number of sales and management roles with the Xerox Group of Companies.

Nick first joined Rank Xerox back in 1986 as a country manager in Qatar, a country of 11,500 sq km (five times the size of ACT or 70 times smaller than NSW) in the Middle East, on the peninsula bordering the Persian Gulf and Saudi Arabia.

After six memorable years in Qatar, Nick joined Fuji Xerox Australia as a sales representative where he rapidly worked his way into senior sales and management roles. During this time, he lead the Production Services Business Group on a path of significant growth and in 2006 became the general manager of Fuji Xerox Australia’s Integrated Sales and Marketing Division (ISMD).

As Managing Director, Nick is fully committed to the Fuji Xerox vision of helping organisations share knowledge through people and technology.

His strategic focus is on continued improvement with an intent to deliver exceptional value through innovative solutions and services. Under Nick’s leadership, Fuji Xerox Australia will continue to invest in its people, improve organisational capabilities and find new and sustainable solutions to help its customers grow their businesses.

Nick’s youth has been an enjoyable and ‘eventful’ one. He joined the Merchant Navy as a cadet officer and sailed around the world, visiting virtually every continent (except Antartica!). He realised his sailing career was over when his ship sank in the Red Sea after a collision with another vessel.

Nick bowed out after three years at the rank of 3rd officer, met and married his wife and joined Rank Xerox. Nick has two daughters and lives in Sydney. Nick believes that a healthy body fosters a healthy mind, and attempts to get to the gym at least 3 times a week.
