What is the ApeosPort?
ApeosPort systems deliver the opportunity for improved productivity in complex global and local business environments where the integration of electronic and paper documents is a legal or operational imperative. Development of unique document management systems based on the technology incorporated into the ApeosPort enables businesses to easily customise and automate a broad range of
document workflow tasks.
Apeos technology is designed on an open architecture platform (utilising
industry-standard XML and Simple Object Access Protocol - SOAP). This opens up
possibilities for integrating unique customer workflow applications that can be
developed in conjunction with Fuji Xerox or independent software providers. What's more, enterprise customers will be able to integrate their distributed ApeosPort systems directly with mission-critical CRM and data management systems.
Essentially, with this open architecture, the options are limitless.
At its core, ApeosPort-II 3000 is a fast, dependable monochrome printer capable of producing documents at speeds of up to 35 ipm. Printed output is crisp and sharp with resolutions of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi and the device also supports
a wide variety of media types of up to 216gsm.

Security Services
ApeosPort-II 3000 is specially equipped with multi- tiered security capabilities
designed to enhance peace of mind without subtracting any of the benefits of a
networked environment. These include:
- Secure Socket Layer (SSL) / Secure/Multi-Purpose Internet Mail Extensions
(S/MIME)
- Data Security Kit which includes:
- Overwriting the image partition of the HDD automatically or manually as
required with a single or multiple overwrite. - Encryption of HDD Data with a
12-digit code.
- Zero Clear deletion of all partitions including settings usually undertaken
during device relocation or removal.
- Secure Print
- Security Watermark
Document Flow Services
Using advanced digital conversion software, ApeosPort-II 3000 easily converts
hardcopy documents into digital format for distribution. Users/administrators
can also program any of the mailboxes on the device to perform numerous
activities with the documents sent to them. These include, print, scan to email
and/or sending to a server/PC using SMB/FTP protocol.
Management Services
ApeosPort-II 3000 includes a suite of functions designed to simplify the setup and management of the device. These allow administrators to control costs, restrict device access and monitor usage, putting an end to worries of costs running out of control. They include:
- Internal Auditron and Network Authentication
Enable administrators to manage and control users' access to all machine (print/copy/scan) and network (scan to email/SMB/FTP) functions.
