We have worked hard to reduce the power consumption of our products to benefit the environment and our customer’s bottom line. A series of enhancements mainly around the fuser functions of the print engine enable lower power consumption, shorter warm-up time, toners that bond to paper at a lower temperature, and the achievement of shorter recovery times from power saving modes. We continue to incorporate energy saving technologies into our equipment.

• 1997: Fuji Xerox made a commitment to halve the energy consumption of its equipment;
• 2005: We had achieved an average 45% reduction in the power consumption rate;
• 2007: When replacing old equipment with new, our customers can benefit from energy consumption reductions ranging up to 71%.
