Fuji Xerox Co Ltd, sets and manages the sustainability strategy and Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd provides Fuji Xerox Australia and other operating companies across the region with policies, guidance and targets for some key sustainability topics, while encouraging local materiality assessment and planning to consider the feasibility for addressing additional objectives and targets based on relevance to our country of operation, local stakeholder concerns and available resources and bandwidth to manage topics of interest.

Our managing director is committed to building a sustainable Fuji Xerox Australia and has ultimate responsibility for our sustainability performance. There is clear leadership recognition that we are accountable to stakeholders for not only business results but also for our social and environmental impact.

Fuji Xerox Australia identified its stakeholders for engagement through an internal workshop based on the AccountAbility AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard. [G4-25]

In terms of how well we listen and respond to stakeholders’ concerns, we are yet to assess how effectively we engage stakeholders in our sustainability agenda. Below is an overview of our current engagement mechanisms across our identified stakeholder groups.[G4-24],[G4-26]

Like many organisations, embedding sustainability in how we plan, manage and measure our business requires continual refinement and remains a challenge with the significant management and structural changes we have undergone in the last couple of years. Our goal is to integrate the voice of stakeholders into what we call the strategic rhythm of the business.
